CitizenMcCord.com began life as a campaign website when I ran for the Charlottesville City School Board in 2007. I did not win that election, but I learned a great deal about how politics works on a local level. I also made friends with many of the movers and shakers in our town, and as a result, was appointed by the City Council to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission through December of 2010. On this blog, I will share my views of that honored crossroad where politics meets citizenship. I hope you will join me in this discussion.
